London Street Diary - 30/01/2013

I am writing this post very tired despite my today’s shift was not so long. Maybe I am not consuming enough food to have a lot of energy. My day was pretty good though. I have slept well, the sun was shining almost whole day and even the shift went well. I have created new riffs on my guitar and I was listening whole day to my old favorite Wavves. I always wanted to do such music, so maybe it’s time to try something like that. My days are not super exciting, but I like them. I am having simpler and a little bit slower life, but it will change soon, when I will be exploring the city more. I have no shifts at weekend, so I will wander randomly through different parts of city, where I have not been yet. Tomorrow I have early shift, so I need to go sleep really soon. London Street Diary - 29/01/2013

I really enjoy playing guitar, mostly my own stuff, but I am still desperately wanting to play in a band, but I have had no luck so far. I hope it will change one day. Today I had a shift in Starbucks, which consisted mainly of doing paperwork. It was so boring, but besides that I have learned doing cold beverages. They are so simple, but definitely not suitable for a winter time. I am glad that my co-workers are really nice people and they are treating me well. I think I will be enjoying my work, but firstly I need to learn all the stuff. Today I have realized I am surrounded by really great people: guys, who are having me in their house, my new friends here, my co-workers, my friends back home or my internet, mostly music friends (I am so proud of them). I am having good time right now and want to keep it that way. Thanks you guys for reading my entries. I am really glad I am doing my diary again. It helps me to sort things out in my head.

London Street Diary - 28/01/2013

My day was full of nostalgia. I was looking at old photos in my laptop and thinking about my life before. It was completely different as it is now, but I am not regretting anything. I have changed, I am doing different things, listening different music and living in completely different environment, but I really like my life now. Today I was playing a guitar and I know I need more and more practice until I will be at least partially satisfied with my own skills. I do not know what I will do in my future, but I am certain I will try to stick with music as much as I can. Škótsko // 7. december // Deň #086

Dni plynú a ja ani poriadne nevnímam, aký je deň v týždni. Dnes bol piatok a ani som o tom nevedel, keby som nepočul vonku typické piatkové zvuky opitých študentov. Sedím v izbe, čítam si, pozerám filmy a píšem si s kamarátmi. Dnes som aj viac kecal so spolubývajúcimi, lebo sme sa nejak naraz stretli v kuchyni, tak aspoň som si trochu precvičil angličtinu. Zistil som, že meniť z angličtiny do slovenčiny mi nerobí vôbec problémy. Môžem si písať s niekym po slovensky a vo vedľajšom okne mať otvorenú konverzáciu s niekym z Ameriky. Triedil som dnes knihy a chystal ich do balíka, ktorý v pondelok pošlem na Slovensko. Som zvedavý, či príde skôr ako ja, ale dúfam, že áno. Na start-tracku som dnes mal špeciálny post k mojej obľúbenej skupine Teen Suicide, ktorý sa nedávno rozpadli: http://start-track.com/post/37387748654/teen-suicide-hymns Hudba je pre mňa veľmi dôležitá a nemôžem a ani nechcem bez nej byť. Neprešiel deň, aby som nepočúval nejaké dobré kapely. Poslednú dobu si viac a viac všímam lyrics k pesničkám a objavujem ich krásu. Poznám ale málo ľudí s kým môžem zdieľať moju hudbu z blogu. Viac ich je za morom ako v mojom okolí. Už je to menej ako týždeň a budem letieť domov. Nakoniec budem letieť sám do Amsterdamu, lebo kamarátka sa pomýlila v čase, kedy letí ona a tak ideme dvomi rôznymi lietadlami, ale stretneme sa v Amsterdame aj ešte s Majkou, ktorá priletí z Glasgowa. Bude nás plno v lietadle do Viedne. V Amsterdame budem mať 9 hodín medzi jednotlivými prestupmi, tak asi pôjdem pozrieť do môjho obľúbeného mesta. Po Londýne asi najlepšie (najkrajšie) európske mesto. Ak ste v ňom neboli, tak to musíte napraviť.  

Škótsko // 28. október // Deň #046

Nedeľa. Dnes som si poriadne pospal, aj keď som plánoval ísť do mesta. Keď som sa zobudil na budík a uvidel počasie vonku, šiel som späť do postele. Poobede som robil nejaké veci na nete, počúval veľa hudby. Volal som s bratom, sestrou a mamou, varil som si cestoviny (už som dal menej vody) a večer šiel na omšu do našej krásnej univerzitnej kaplnky. Objavil som dnes skvelú pesničku, ktorú spravil môj kamarát z Trnavy Mišo Ž, ktorého som spoznal, keď som tam chodil ešte na gymnázium. Nájdete ju na jeho soundcloude: http://soundcloud.com/gillow/hikikomori. Konečne som nachystal dva veľké balíky plné kníh, ktoré v stredu idem poslať na Slovensko. Moja polička zíva prázdnotou, asi ju bude treba naplniť novými knihami. Ďalšie knihy budem kupovať len do knižnice v Kubiku a pre svoje potreby. Plánujem poslať ešte jeden balík, ak budú tieto dva úspešné. Neskôr večer som si ešte spravil cibuľové chleby, ktoré úplne môžem. Písal som si ešte s kamarátkami, čítal si, napísal denník a potom šiel do postele.
